A BOER WAR AND FIRST WORLD WAR GROUP OF FOUR TO THE ROYAL ARMY MEDICAL CORPS. A group of four comprising Queen's South Africa Medal with South Africa 1901 clasp named to 523Pte G.W. Hayford Vol M.S.C. 1914 Star with clasp to 1694 Pte G.W. Hayford R.A.M.C. War medal and Victory Medal similarly named with the rank of Corporal. George Hayford served during the Boer War with the Woolwich Company, Volunteer Medical Staff Corps at the Rhodesian Field Force Hospital. Re-enlisting for the First World War serving on the Western Front from the 15th September 1914. He wad discharged on the 10th March 1917. With copied research. Provenance: Noonan's London.
