AN ISLAMIC RECTANGULAR ENGRAVED CARNELIAN TALISMAN PENDANT WITH NAD-E ALI INSCRIPTION. -
This talisman pendant features a rectangular carnelian stone of translucent orange-red colour. The face of the stone is deeply engraved with Arabic script, set within a decorative foliate border. The inscription commences with the Basmala and continues with the Nad-e Ali prayer, a traditional Shiite invocation beginning with the phrase Call upon Ali, the manifester of wonders.
