A set of twelve George V silver gilt side plates by J.S. Harman & Co, with bat's wing borders and central engraved coat of arms, with the motto 'post tenebras lucem' (After darkness, light), London, 1931, diameter 21.8cm, 135oz.
The gilding is showing signs of wear on all plates, particularly to any raised parts or the bases, some loss is greater that others. Numerous surface scratches on all, consistent with age and some use. All hallmarks clear.
