French black slate and malachite mantel clock, the 8-day movement striking the half hour and hours on a bell, with 'GAF' stamped trademark no.44603, the 5" white dial with a visible Brocot escapement, Roman numerals, minute markers and Breguet type moon hands, over a bevelled glazed panel and within a arch top case inset with malachite panels, 17" high (with gridiron pendulum and key)
