A CHINESE GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITAYUS, QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795). The Buddha seated on an open work floral edged rectangular base holding a bumpa in front of a separately cast flaming mandorla. The front of the base inscribed from right to left 'Da Qing Qianlong Xin Si nian Jing zao'. Corresponding to the Xinsi year of Qianlong period, 1761. The interior inscribed, numbered 48. 21cm tall. Weight 2014 grams.
