An early 20th century tooled leather bound commemorative book, to honour the fifty year service of Mrs. Annabella D. Harkness, between 1867 and 1917, at the Royal Waterloo Hospital, founded in 1816, the inside with hand painted and gilt illuminations, with signatures of participants
Provenance: passed down to the vendor, who's great aunt was secretary to the Earl and Countess of Athlone
