A percussion double barrelled Howda style pistol, with 6" hexagonal barrels with four groove rifling, the locks with sparse engraving, double trigger with steel trigger guard and butt cap. Overall length 28 cm. Sold as section 58 obsolete calibre.

The gun goes to half cock and full cock and will release as it should. the barrels have some light rust but nothing untoward. Generally it appears to be age related wear. The fore-end has a section of timber missing to the left-hand side which is +/- 4-5 cm in length then there is a further crack leading back towards the lock. on the right-hand side there is a crack at the front which leads 3 cm back. There is no ramrod.
