A late 17th century West Country silver Trefid Spoon, c.1680's, by John Peard, with makers mark struck three times, the central mark incorporating the 'Bar-vm' town mark, the bowl with reeded rat-tail reverse and (possibly later?) lace-back decoration, the finial front correspondingly decorated incorporating a vacant cartouche, 21cm long, 80.5g.
Provenance; the property of a retired North Devon Antiques Dealer.
