French percussion belt pistol military use. Back action crisp on 1st and 2nd cock. Lockplate faintly engraved "Manufacture D'Armes, Chafelleraulf" (possible flintlock conversion?) Octagonal 8" barrel (to breech section) approx 14 Bore with multi groove rifling. Varnished walnut half stock. Chequered saw grip. Monogram to reverse of stock. Lanyard ring. Trigger guard and belt clip missing. XIIII stamped in stock, engraving difficult to read. A quality pistol with service wear. No licence required
