1843 (Feb 23) Long entire from Hounslow to Holborn bearing 1840 2d blue plate 1 GB-GD strip of three, small to large margins, each with a black Maltese Cross cancel, large Hounslow country sorting office type datestamp on the front, vertical file folds well away from the stamps. A good late use of the 1840 2d on a letter of 2-3oz.
