A GOOD QUALITY LATE 19TH CENTURY SINGLE DOOR CABINET / LOCKER, with an inset carved panel to the door, which opens to reveal shelved interior. Marker’s label attached to the door interior. Henry Lazarus – 287 Old Street, London. H. Lazarus & Sons were listed in The Furniture Gazette Directory in 1876 & 1877, and took part in various exhibitions in the 1880s, the company flourished between 1871 & 1886. On Henry’s passing his obituary noted his benevolence towards various societies in 19th century London. Condition: the cabinet is in excellent condition, the pull handle does need restoring as the drop is not present. Dimensions: 77 x 39 x 35cm (H x W x D).
