1841 (Sep 19) 1d Lettersheet stereo A76 containing a printed advert for the Clerical, Medical, and General Life Assurance Society with "Mr S.B Chapman, Agent, Corn Hill, Ipswich" at lower right, sent by Mr Chapman from Ipswich to London with the brief handwritten message "200 leeches per return of mail, S.B Chapman", cancelled by a black Maltese Cross with Ipswich and London backstamp. Very fine, unusual used by the society agent for his personal order of leeches. S.G. MA113g.
