WWII Japanese Occupation Currency – Burma Issue (8 Notes) Interesting group of eight World War II Japanese Government invasion notes issued for circulation in occupied Burma during the early 1940s. The lot includes denominations from 1 Cent to 10 Rupees, printed by the Japanese authorities as military currency during their occupation of Southeast Asia. These historic emergency notes were introduced when Japanese forces replaced local colonial currencies, making them an important reminder of wartime economic control. Lot includes: 1 Cent, 5 Cents (2), 10 Cents, ½ Rupee, 1 Rupee, 5 Rupees, and 10 Rupees. Condition circulated as shown.
