KUTCHINSKY a pair of 18 ct gold and sapphire set clip earrings 24 mm x 25 mm, 20 g
The Kutchinsky workshop was established in 1893 when Hirsch Kutchinsky immigrated to London from Poland. By the mid-20th century, Kutchinsky had become synonymous with glamorous, modernist designs, often featuring colourful gemstones, whimsical motifs and intricate goldwork – an embodiment of the celebration of the end of wartime in Europe. Particularly known for their striking pieces of the 1960s and 1970s however, the brand catered to a discerning clientele seeking both luxury and wearability. Today, Kutchinsky remains highly collectible, with its distinctive aesthetic embodying the exuberance of this era. Notable wearers of the brand include Elizabeth Taylor and Elton John.
