A Vintage Industrial Three Ton Double-Sheave Pulley Block Dated 1976

A heavy-duty industrial double-sheave pulley block featuring three plates of dark brown phenolic resin laminate held by steel reinforcing straps. The block contains two internal sheaves and is fitted with a large forged steel swivel eye. The central strap is stamped with the markings 092/S/9242792, TEST 3 TONS, AJ, and 6 76, along with a vertical numeric string 2 1 4 3 7. The code 6 76 refers to a manufacture or certification date of June 1976. This type of block was commonly utilised in marine and industrial lifting environments.
