Interesting late Victorian brass alarm carriage clock, the case inscribed 'The Royal Buckingham Palace Mews 1897', enamel white Roman numeral dial with outer Arabic numeral division, blued spade hands, platform cylinder escapement, eight-day movement with an unusual alarm dial striking on a bell beneath the case, within a corniche bevelled glazed case with a 'Full Alarm/8 Day Alarm' slide to the top of the case, 7" high with the handle raised; with a Morocco leather travel case
