An early to mid 19th-century topaz brooch; the central lozenge -shaped panel of open scrolling design and set with an oval and two rectangular step-cut foiled-back pink topaz*; in closed back setting; and suspending a single stone drop in similar scrolling mount. 7.0 x 10.0 cm. in fitted case. circa 1830. * Note:- they appear to be pale pink topaz against an enhanced pink foiled backing.
