A Victorian flow blue 'Jenny Lind' dish in an oak and E.P.N.S. swing handled table coaster/holder.
The flow blue liner is decorated with a scene portraying high class figures observing a castle and a loch. It is marked beneath with the 'Jenny Lind' C.M. & S. transfer for Charles Meigh & Son, dating between 1851- Mar 1861. The Jenny Lind pattern was named after the famous Swedish Opera singer, who gained global notoriety after her USA tour with P.T. Barnum.
