A GOLD MOURNING RING, 1779 set with an oval miniature painted en grisaille with a lady seated beside an urn, hoop inscribed ROBT PEIRROTT (?) OB: 22 OCT 1779 AE 30, head 16 x 12mm, 3.8g, size M½
The inscription originally enamelled black, only traces of enamel now remaining, hoop slightly distorted, not broken or repaired. Miniature in good condition
