1896 Eastern Province (SA) Rugby Cap and 1988 Book (2): Wonderful duo. Navy velvet panelled honours cap with silver tassel & braiding, EPRFU badge and 1896 to peak, London maker. Owner's name, possibly H Newton, to inner. Slight wear to inner, otherwise marvellous condition for its 125 plus years. An almost identical cap is pictured on the hard covers of the E Province Centenary Book, 1888-1988 by W Muller, 190pp with illustrations. What a chance. Exc
