A wooden coin cabinet (very approximately 17 inches high) which holds 24 coin trays of various sizes – and a small quantity of coins (see separate photo), of which the stand-out is a George VI 1652-1952 South African five shillings. The earliest coins are an 1876 German 10 Pfennig, and an 1845 East Indian Company ¼ cent with a young Victoria head. There’s also one tray with 26 different year dates of brass threepences – from 1937 to 1945 inclusive and 1951 to 1967. The cabinet comes with lock and key – but it’s not easy to lock, possibly with part of the bottom fixture missing making it awkward. It does lock if you remove the big tray.
