A Belgian double barrelled 20 shot 7mm Lefaucheux double action pinfire revolver, c 1860, number 185077, round over and under barrels 123mm (5"), the upper barrel engraved in gothic script “E. Escotton a Montevideo”, the breech stamped “E. LEFAUCHEUX INVR BREVETE”; Liege proved; the hammer having two noses which strike an upper and lower chamber alternately; fully fluted cylinder, the frame and cylinder engraved with panels of vines and tendrils; with folding trigger, plain ebony grips and lanyard ring.
