Three Chinese Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) ceramic items. To include a 'twin fish' bowl, a moulded 'twin phoenix' dish and a moulded shallow dish thickly-potted, covered in a light olive-green glaze and five spur marks to the interior of the bowl. Diam. 12-17cm (3)
Provenance: The Twin fish and phoenix bowls purchased from Peter Wells, Bourbon Hanby Gallery, Chelsea London, 22nd August 1998.
'Twin fish' bowl - minor chips to the rim. No other faults to note in good overall condition with wear expected with age.
'Twin phoenix' dish - minor chips visible to back of rim with a faint hairline crack.
Shallow dish - defect to rim and expected wear to base.
