A LATE VICTORIAN 18CT GOLD DIAMOND AND RUBY RING, AND A 9CT GOLD MEMORIAL BROOCH, the ring set with a central star set, old cut diamond, flanked with star set circular cut rubies, plain polished band, hallmarked 18ct gold Birmingham 1887, ring size L, gross weight 3.8 grams, together with an early 20th century memorial brooch, designed with a star set split pearl, within a floral and bead work mount, small circular vacant memorial panel to the reverse, fitted with a brooch pin and an additional safety chain, hallmarked 9ct gold Chester 1902, length 40mm, gross weight 2.7 grams
