SEALED ENGLISH ONION WINE BOTTLE. 6.3ins tall. Black glass, actually very dark green. Elegant long neck with attractive striations, pointy ended string rim, tiny rear flake. Extremely crisply struck & very detailed shoulder seal - chevron between, in chief, two fleurs de lis, in base, five mascles, each charged (see Burton p1481). Previously in a collection in USA. Quite superb.
