A EARLY VICTORIAN SUNDERLAND PINK LUSTRE JUG, printed and painted with a vignette and verse 'Sailors' Farewell' and a titled scene 'A West View of the cast iron bridge over the River Wear built by R. Burdon Esqr....' below the pouring lip 'P & M Lillywhite 1841' with a hand painted garland of red and blue flowers, height 19cm, together with a Victorian Sunderland pink lustre bowl, the exterior monochrome printed with vignette and verse 'Sailors' Farewell', 'A West View of the cast bridge over the River Wear....' and verse 'Then noble bark of brightest fame...' the interior printed and tinted Crimea War Memorial with British and French soldiers and portraits titled 'May They Ever Be United', diameter 23cm x height 11.5cm (2) (condition: the jug has crazing and staining, light wear to the pink lustre in places, the bowl has a lumpy fault to the interior towards the base, the transfers have flown into the glaze, other underglaze firing faults to interior and exterior, light wear to pink lustre, especially the rims)
