c.1860 Cards with embossed or paperlace borders, various unusual centrally applied designs including a bunch of flowers made of dried plants, a cottage, a ladder, a pair of stockings, Thermometer of Love, panel enclosing a mirror, a bird and two love apples, two love birds, an open writing desk and feather, and a trunk entitled "The Ladies Companion" which opens to reveal a man and verse, makers include Dobbs, Burke or Dobbs Kidd & Co., an unusual group, all approx 11½-13x17-20cm, one with edge faults, otherwise generally fine.
