A VICTORIAN PAIR OF MEDALS CONSISTING OF A TWO BAR INDIAN GENERAL SERVICE MEDAL AND A THREE CLASP QUEENS SOUTH AFRICA, the IGSM is named to 4398 Private H Frearson, bars include Tirah 1897-98 and Punjab Frontier 1897-98, and the QSA is named to 4398 Private H Frearson Notts & Derby Regiment, bars include South Africa 1902, Transvaal, Cape Colony, both medals relate to Henry Frearson who was born around 1870 in Leicestershire, there are some records available online so plenty of scope for more research, these medals along with a framed photo of two men was originally in a frame, but the frame has been broken, the photo is backed onto a card, also included is a modern copy of a military cross
