A framed WWII medal group presentation, to SQMS John Prueitt (b.1901), 7873365 Tank Commander, comprising: General Service Medal (1918-1962) with Palestine clasp, 1939-1945 Star, Africa Star, France & Germany Star, WWII Campaign Medal, George VI Meritorious Service Medal and Army Long Service & Good Conduct Medal, (with Regular Army clasp), each with replacement ribbons. John Prueitt served in the 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th Royal Tank Regiment between 1921 and 1945; the presentation includes an image of him, as well as a mounted News of the World 'Order of the Knights of the Road' Medal, and a WWII King's Badge for Loyal Service, which he had also received. Also present is a folder of pages copied from his Service Record. Retained in the family by descent.
