An Oak cased longcase clock, brass dial signed Bronson, Stowmarket, 50 x 209 x 25cm.
Dial says Bronson Stowmarket.
Has winder, weights and a pendulum. When the pendulum was fitted and set ticking, with no weights, the longer hand started moving. When the hands were adjusted to overlap, the ticking stopped and the long hand no longer moved, but start ticking and moving again when manually changed to 3. The weights could not be fitted because one of the loops is pulled tight against the underside of the clock, could not be pulled down by hand.
The hands have some bending and twisting.
The case has some general small damages and repairs. There is some cracking either side of the base, some signs of worm in the top right finial. Please see condition report pictures.
