AN INTERESTING COLLECTION OF THAI/SINGAPOREAN/BURMESE WHITE METAL – POSSIBLY SILVER ITEMS: No typical silver hallmarks to the pieces. Includes (i) TWO THAI WHITE METAL OFFERING BOWLS, possibly silver, each with a band of decoration to the outside, both with a floral design to the underside, and both with a needlepoint lettering/numbers to the underside. Baht weights noted in this script. One bowl (which is the more dented of the two) weighs 5 bahts; translating to around 75grams, the other bowl which is in better condition is 6 baht; roughly 98grams. Dimensions of the bowls: 9.5 x 5cm. (ii) THREE SHALLOW WHITE METAL DISHES, possibly silver, each with bead trim to the edge & a floral design to the centre. Impressed with maker’s mark KLN. A&C, dimensions: 9 x 1.5cm (W x H). (iii) And finally A WHITE METAL SHALLOW DISH, possibly silver, decorated with a scalloped edge and a raised repoussé design of the deity Ganesha to the centre. Dimensions: 8cm wide. Total weight of the lot: 288grams.
