Silver and silver plate to include:
an oval silver-plated serving tray and platter;
a late 18th to early 19th century silver caddy-spoon with bight-cut foliate engraving;
a silver-bladed and mother of pearl handled fruit-knife;
an 18th century hallmarked silver toddy-ladel with twisted whalebone handle;
a silver cheroot case with engine-turned decoration and vacant cartouche.
Also to include a book and two booklets on hallmarks.
Condition Report: Lid snaps close on cigarette case but there is a slip gap to the front 'grinning', no other major dents or problems. Silver bladed knife - close well with no major problems. The mother of pearl sides does not appear to have problems. Toddy ladle - handle in good condition, silver stem is sectional, some staining and tarnishing but no splits or damage noted.
