A Victorian silver gilt combined vinaigrette and scent bottle, in the form of an armoured gauntlet, by Archibald Douglas, London 1871, applied with vacant shield cartouche, one end terminated with a scent bottle compartment, the other end with hinged cover open to reveal drilled grille, attached with suspension loop and chain, 7.6 cm long, 17.9 grams.
