A Mughal Bronze Ewer with Dragon Handle, 16th-18th Century.

A bronze ewer of bulbous form rising from a flared foot with ridged decoration, the body adorned with spiral fluting throughout. The tall neck and domed lid display geometric and scalloped detailing, while the curved spout echoes the spiral motif. The handle is cast in the form of a dragon, its sinuous body extending upwards to bite the rim.
