A FRAMED 19TH CENTURY FREEMASONRY SILK NEEDLEWORK APRON, embroidered with thick cannetilles, velvet and golden threads, the border edged with red ribbon. Embroidered decoration of the Pelican feeding its children surmounted by the Cross with rose, framed by flowering branches, and a garland embroidered with golden thread. Embroidered to top with the radiating delta. No information as to who owned the apron, however it appears to be a Royal Arch Mason apron. Dimensions: 41.5cm x 50cm approx. frame
