Clarice Cliff - Inspiration Asters - A ginger jar and cover circa 1930, hand painted with abstract panels of stylised flowers and foliage in tonal blue and ochre over a tonal turquoise shell pattern ground, hand painted ochre Inspiration and Bizarre mark, height 19.5cm.
There is a small fine hairline to the upper rim of the base and some fine and even crazing across the body. The cover appears to have had a professional restoration to the outer rim, a very good job which would not need reworking.
