Roman Imperial, 'Britannic Empire': Carausius billon Antoninianus, "C" mint (Colchester / Gloucester / Bitterne etc?) in S|P/C configuration - 292-3 AD (according to Carson/Ken Elks). Obv: 'IMP C CARAVSIVS PF AVG'. / 'PROVID AVGGG', Providentia standing l. holding globe and cornucopia. This late reign issue features the legend of the three Augusti 'AVGGG', where he was attempting to associate himself with the continental Emperors Diocletian and Maximian. 4.79g. GVF with trace silvering.
