A C.B.E. (civil) medal (cased) and miniature dress medal, together with a M.B.E. (civil) (cased) - both awarded to Maurice Collings, and a Indian Volunteer Forces medal awarded to Capt. F.E. Lowe, Nainital Volunteer Rifles (cased). Maurice Collings (1916 - 2000) joined the Audit Department of the Colonial Service in 1936 and was posted to the Gold Coast. He was awardrd the M.B.E. in 1949 and appointed Principal auditor in Gibraltar. After three years, he was posted to Nigeria and received the C.B.E. on early retirement in 1963. He was appointed to the Panel of Fiscal Experts of the International Monetary Fund in 1968.
