A LURISTAN BRONZE STAG FINIAL, CIRCA 1000–700 BC. -

A Luristan bronze figure modelled as a stylised stag standing in profile, the elongated body supported on slender legs with a slightly raised foreleg. The head is rendered with a simplified snout and prominent ears, surmounted by an elaborate set of branching antlers forming an openwork silhouette. The piece is presented on a modern black rectangular display stand.
