A GEORGE IV SILVER TWIN HANDLED BOWL, of wavy circular form, the 'S' scroll handles with acanthus cast caps, the bowl's base inset with embossed medallion of 'GEORGIUS IV DEI GRATIA BRITANNIARUM REX' bust inside profile as a Roman emperor, traces of gilding remain, on a short pedestal with circular foot, stamped I.W. to inner foot rim, maker Philip Rundell, London 1820, approximate weight 33.7ozt, 1048 grams, height 14cm, diameter 22cm, width handle to handle 28cm (condition: the interior base shows traces of gilding and appears to have been used as a plant pot as there is a deep water line/limescale line, some surface scratches, bowls sits fairly level on a flat surface)
