A Chinese Canton decorated famille rose garden seat, 19th century, painted with court figures in interiors and gardens interspersed by pierced coin motifs, above insects, flowers and fruit, the four supports terminating in stylised pink enamelled bats, 47cm high, broken and restored
The garden seat has been broken around the upper half and repaired and restored with some repainting to flowers and figures in places, some of the re-sprayed ground goes up round the edges of the rim but there’s no evidence this is covering damage.
