A late 19th to early 20th century Chinese hardwood occasional table: recessed top bordered by faux bamboo carving above pierced friezes carved with prunus blossom; raised on four faux bamboo uprights united by three similar stretchers (LWH 51 x 36.5 x 74 cm)

More Information

* Condition: Good original surface and colour overall. The top does have a pale ring mark and a patch of lighter worn polish towards one end. This was once part of a nest of tables, so there are no corner brackets beneath the frieze to one side and no stretcher beneath. There is a little separation between the joints of the side stretchers and supports. No damage, losses or repairs to the carved frieze.
