A wax over composition all original Pumpkin head doll, German circa 1870, with black glass pupil-less eyes, painted brows, mouth and moulded ears and blonde hair with black Alice band, on a cloth body with carved wooden lower arms and legs with painted pink boots, wearing a brown striped silk dress with black trim, black silk cape and matching bonnet with lace and flower decoration, and underclothes, 15" (38cm) tall, (condition: good, some paint loss to left leg).
