AN AMBO OR OVAMBO KNIFE AND SCABBARD, NORTHERN NAMIBIA. The 19.5 cm straight, pointed blade with a central spine. Mounted on a slender wooden grip with circular flared pommel. In a matching scabbard with cut-away section and pierced holes for wear and a distinctive curved lower end. 32.5 cm.
Does not quite close to scabbard. light surface rust to blade, chip to pommel. Collection number to both parts.
