A pair of Continental, possibly French, 19th century hand painted porcelain and ormolu signed lidded urns. The mantel vases having a domed lid with an acorn-shaped ormolu lid to top. Scrolled ormolu dragon handles to the body with gilt tooled cartouche decorated with Hm and Her to one side and landscapes to the other. Each signed 'Duret' to the edge. All raised on a circular foot with gadrooned shaped plinth base.

(Each measures approx. 25cm x 13cm x 9cm.)
