James Duffield Harding (c.1797/98-1863) British. "Roman Baths at Treves", Pencil, Signed, Inscribed and Dated 1860, Unframed 9.75" x 14" (24.8 x 35.5cm) together with related newspaper cuttings about the artist, four Watercolours by Edmund Thornton Crawford (1806-1885) and three Watercolours and an Ink drawing by various hands (9). Provenance: Edward Every-Clayton of Lancashire, son of Sir Henry Every. He served in the 80th Regiment of Foot (Staffordshire Volunteers) and was posted to Gibraltar and later station in Malta and the Ionian Islands.
