A Chinese sterling silver cigar box, circa 1900. The hinged cover decorated in high relief with a dragon chasing an initialled flaming pearl, the twin sectioned wooden interior with silver presentation plaque inscribed 'Presented to Mr W.A.B. Leach by the staff of the Public Works Department on his retirement from the service of the Shanghai Municipal Council 1902-1926', unidentified Shanghai makers mark,1875-1930, height 9cm, width 22cm, depth 16cm.
