1842 (Oct 8) Printed O.H.M.S War-Office entire with red crowned Paid datestamp, addressed to "The Governor of Bermuda", with scarce octagonal "L / OC 19 / 42" datestamp of Liverpool used on Cunard packet letters. Carried on the "Caledonia" to Halifax and then by the "Lady Ogle". An unusual official letter. Photo on Page 12.
