More Information

The paint surface shows craquelure throughout, and some small losses to the varnish. Examination under UV shows the odd small area of retouching, and evidence of re-varnishing at some point in the past. The frame appears to be structurally sound, but shows rubbing and wear to the gilt highlights, with some evidence of repair to the moulded details.
