A 19th century American Masonic Knights Templar ceremonial fraternity sword by M.C.Lilley in its metal scabbard. Having a knights helmet pommel, a wooden handle and metal crosspiece connected by a chain. The scabbard having a red enamel cross with IN HOC SIGNO & VINCES. The double edged blade etched with the owners name Alfred W. Brown, Jr. and adorned with Masonic symbols including an elaborate battle scene and the makers name: The M.C. Lilley & Co. Columbus Ohio. Blade length 71cms.
